Strange But True

Latest news from the world of the subnormal

This old black and white photograph taken in Berlin during the early 1930's is conclusive proof that Hitler was once a cross-dressing member of the Pink Sash Brigade, a German gay rights movement. The German leader is wearing a pale blue knee length cotton dress, dark brown woollen stockings, a pair of sensible shoes and a rather charming green necklace - he must have been recognised as a great fashion icon of his time. The picture only came to light recently when an old chemist shop in Berlin was being cleared out prior to being demolished. Several undeveloped films were discovered in the cellar and one of them contained several snaps of the gay rights parade. The man stood next to the Fuhrer is believed to have been one of his many boyfriends, Herr Ebols, a well known member of the Nazi party, animal lover and hair stylist - the man responsible for Hitler's famous side-parting and moustache.

The knowledge that this photograph existed must have played greatly on the Fuhrer's mind in later years and may have been why he sent some three million German chemist shop owners to Russian front in 1941 instead of trained soldiers, an act that was to lose him World War II.

Don't say you haven't been warned and don't forget you read it here first.
