Strange But True

Latest news from the world of the subnormal

This photograph is conclusive proof that cows can jump over the moon.

The photo was taken after the successful landing of the Apollo 13 moon mission. The startling consequences of this discovery meant that a fictional story of a failed mission had to be devised and played out by actors on earth.

A retired NASA employee said, "The cow was first spotted as it overtook the Apollo rocket on its way to the moon. From that moment on the mission became top secret and news of a problem with the rocket was played out for the rest of mankind. In reality, the Apollo spacecraft followed the cow as it orbited the moon and then forced it down onto the surface so that the astronauts could take a closer look".

"The cow was an ordinary British cow named Daisy and the astronauts were able to have a glass of fresh milk before returning to earth. The United States of America needed to cover the whole thing up because they didn't want the rest of the world to know that they had been beaten to the moon the British. We also felt that people might start believing that the moon was really made of cheese and that sort of nonsense can't be tolerated."

Don't say you haven't been warned and don't forget you read it here first.
