Strange But True

Latest news from the world of the subnormal

This photograph is conclusive proof that jellyfish can fly... well, sort of hover.

This photo was taken at sunny Skegness during the scorching height of the English summer. Our photographer was there to photograph the opening of another fish and chip shop when a great rush of holiday makers stormed off of the golden sands to seek sanctuary in the local shops and hotels as thousands of jellyfish rose out of the clear blue warm sea to float gently over the beach.

Experts are baffled by this strange behaviour but some believe that the jellyfish has evolved its hovering capability to avoid being squashed on the sands by humans who are not looking where they are going.

Don't say you haven't been warned and don't forget you read it here first.
